COURSE DESCRIPTION
Programming techniques in object-oriented programming,
including data abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism, and dynamic object
creation. Emphasis will be placed on the reusability of objects and the focus
on object concepts as they deal with future program maintenance. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
To provide students with a thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and an introduction to generic programming using C++ as the target language.
TEACHING METHODS
Lecture, sample programs, whiteboard and projector presentations. One to two hours lab per class, depending on assignment type and complexity.
